Dr Emily Surgeon (BVSc) has over 18 years experience as a practising vet and is known for her calm, compassionate approach to caring for pets and their families. With a warm smile, she is dedicated to helping create peaceful, dignified experiences for pets in the comfort of their home.

Every appointment is unhurried and tailored to your family's wishes. We begin by discussing the process and answering any questions. A gentle sedative is usually administered first so your pet is relaxed and comfortable before the final medication is given. Families are welcome to spend as much time as they need before and after the procedure.

Our fees vary depending on your pet's size, your location, the services required and if the home visit is out of hours.
In-home quality of life assessments start from $250.
In-home pet euthanasia appointments start from $390.
Aftercare and cremation services are priced separately depending on the options selected.

No, the process is designed to be as gentle and peaceful as possible.
Before the euthanasia medication is administered, we typically provide a sedative to help your pet feel relaxed, comfortable and pain free from anxiety. Once your pet is resting peacefully, the final medication is given, allowing them to pass away calmly and without pain.
